The Belleville Althoff Crusaders play in the South Seven Conference of Southern Illinois and Metro-East St. Louis. The Crusaders are a private Catholic school and are coached by Ken Turner. Last season they finished with a 5-4 record and their entire schedule is composed of larger schools, even with the multiplier.
Where are the home games? With Lindenwood University-Belleville installing a new field turf surface and making other improvements the home games for Althoff will be split with three home games at public Belleville West and two home games at public Belleville East. They will play the first three games at Belleville West (with the game against Belleville West counting as a road game). The Sept 16th home game against Mt Vernon will be played at Belleville East. Sept 23rd against Centralia was moved to Sept 24th at Belleville West. Oct 7th vs. Carbondale is also at Belleville East.
