Black Diamond Conference of Illinois
The Black Diamond Conference of Illinois includes the following member high schools: Carmi-White County Bulldogs, Chester Yellow Jackets, Christopher Zeigler-Royalton Bearcats, Eldorado Eagles, Elverado-Trico Falcons, Fairfield Mules, Johnston City Indians, Hamilton County Foxes, and the Sesser-Valier-Waltonville-Woodlawn Red Devils.
In 2010, Chester, of the SI River to River Mississippi Division, joined the BDC and replaced the Carterville Lions.
Coaching Changes
Dan Mings was hired for the Johnston City (former Mt. Vernon Rams) head coaching position after Brian Beery left for West Frankfort. The Elverado-Trico Falcons parted ways with Duffy Sanders after an 0-27 stint and hired Jim Hammers, after he was not rehired at Murphysboro.
